as you are to them.
More videos, music videos, and more photos from the Schatzki reunion.

Poolside-The Residence of Debra and Nick Schatzki
...On a very warm summer day.
As our hosts suggested in the invitation, our children shouted, "Hooray" and grabbed their bathng suits.
They just returned from their trip to visit their maternal grandparents in Bangkok, Thailand, and still were
recovering from the jetlag; yet, they spent just about the whole afternoon in the pool and having such a great time!
I sat by the poolside and got busy with my camcorder. So many clips and many pictures that remind us of the good
time that we spent together with our family.
How we are defined by our family?
The Poonyarits and Schatzkis, formerly of Bangkok, Thailand and now of Easton, Pennsylvania, were informed of and invited to this great
event, a "who-knows-when-it-will-happen-again" family reunion, hosted by Debra and Nick- my husband's first cousins, once removed.
This provided a great opportunity, especially for our children to get to know their American relatives, and to learn more about their
heritage on their father's side. Therefore, we were excited and looked forward to the get-together.
We are defined by our family.
Ashleigh Brilliant says, "If you don't believe in ghosts, you've never been to a family reunion."
Little Poolside Music
To make the afternoon even more spectacular, Debra and Nick provided the family with live music by a small group of musicians.
Our son Brendan was asked to sing, to which he graciously accepted. As usual, I was being a good mother and a great fan, and recorded
a portion of his "performance". Please sit back and enjoy -if you can. :-D
Family is important. We are who we are because of them. I feel close to my family because everyone made it her business to stay in
touch. My children grew up in Thailand and feel very close to their Thai relatives. Now that they live in the United States, I'd like this
tradition to continue. Our appreciation go to Debra and Nick Schatzki. The family reunion was a brilliant idea and a big success.
What a great day, indeed!
To all: Please stay in touch!
I will dedicate a portion of The Family Room on La CoffeeMelodie Suite's Website to all our relatives. You will have a profile page sharing
with us who you are and what you do. Please click for details.
